Online/digitised archives of herbal & medical books
One of the largest herbal medicine sites on the net, with useful resources including digitised and transcribed historic texts . It’s been online since 1995, and is run by Henriette Kress, a herbalist in Helsinki, Finland.
PDF listing UK based medical history research grants awarded to libraries, museums, collections etc granted by the Wellcome Trust 2000-2012. Useful document to see various places & projects involved in history of medicine.
National Library of Medicine historical collections include selected digitized material relating to the history of medicine.

JSTOR.org – JSTOR is a digital library of academic journals, books, and primary sources.
Archive.org – Internet Archive is a non-profit digital library offering free universal access to books, movies & music, as well as 305 billion archived web pages.
Hathi Trust – Many old herbals are digitised here and nowhere else including Culpeper & Parkinson
